By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the maintenance and security of critical operational technology (OT) systems.Manage the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cybersecurity for manufacturing facilities.Lead the implementation and support of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and data security standards.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify technology needs and deliver solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.Manage IT vendor relationships and contracts for hardware, software, and support services.Oversee the IT budget and resource allocation for manufacturing operations.Recommended Qualifications7+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.Proven experience managing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) and their integration with manufacturing operations.Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and their application to OT/IT convergence in manufacturing.Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Experience with industrial automation technologies (e.g., SCADA, MES, PLCs) and their integration with IT infrastructure.Bonus QualificationsExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context.Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices relevant to industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT).Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their application to IT processes.Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or specific vendor certifications relevant to manufacturing software/hardware.Experience managing IT for a multi-site manufacturing operation.Job Titles That Should ApplyIT Manager, Information Technology Manager, IT Director, Head of IT, Technical Operations Manager, Systems Manager, IT Operations Manager, IT Services Manager, Manager of Information Technology, IT Department HeadWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
