Acute lab in 25 bed/9bed ER. CLS must be able to work and think independently as there is only 1 CLS on duty per shift. Limited Microbiology, gram staining required. Blood Bank does Type and Screen, PEG/AHG, Electonic/IS/Full XM, DAT. Antibody ID is managed by the CLS on duty, but the Antibody ID and Antigen testing is sent to the BB reference lab. BB uses Wellsky.Variable - Days 0600-1430 (2x/week).
