We move fast, communicate openly, and believe the best ideas can come from anywhere.About The RoleThe Robotics Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping customer robots running safely, reliably, and productively.This is a hands-on field role supporting a growing fleet of autonomous robotic systems. You'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot failures, execute repairs and upgrades, and serve as a trusted technical representative of Tutor Intelligence.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and taking ownership.This role involves regular travel to customer sites throughout the United States. Most trips are short-duration service visits focused on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades. Technicians are generally home most weekends.What You'll DoPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on robotic systemsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and controls-related issuesExecute upgrades, retrofits, and engineering changesDocument findings and collect data to support root cause analysisWork closely with Engineering, Operations, and Remote Support teamsBuild strong relationships with customer site personnelHelp improve reliability, serviceability, and customer uptimeAdditional Responsibilities For Level IIIOwn maintenance execution across assigned sites with minimal supervisionLead complex troubleshooting and root cause investigationsMentor technicians and develop field best practicesCreate SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and service documentationServe as a trusted technical resource for customers and internal teamsQualificationsExperience maintaining robotics, automation equipment, industrial machinery, AGVs, AMRs, conveyors, packaging equipment, or similar systemsStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExperience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum systemsAbility to read schematics and technical documentationStrong communication skills and customer-facing professionalismAbility to work independently and make sound decisions in the fieldWhy Join Tutor?Most maintenance jobs are about keeping old equipment running.This isn't one of them.At Tutor, you'll work on cutting-edge robotic systems, solve real-world technical challenges, collaborate directly with Engineering and Operations leadership, and help shape the future of warehouse automation.Your work matters.
