Robotics Technician - Spot

Now we are quickly becoming a recognized leader in automation solutions for industrial applications and warehouse logistics.We are looking for people who can work as key members of our multidisciplinary team to troubleshoot, test, and repair complex robotic systems for our Spot Robot fleet. Tasks could range from working on small electromechanical assemblies and test stands to fully integrated robots. A successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to work in large teams and communicate effectively with engineers.Day To Day ActivitiesDebugging, testing, maintenance, and repairs of the world’s most advanced dynamic robots.Create and maintain detailed records of issue resolution, logging events during the repair workflow, and accounting of parts consumed.Interface with external partners to resolve issues and ensure customer success.Preserve effective contact with other departments (manufacturing, engineering, sales, and software support) to ensure a high level of communication and cooperation.Manage and maintain inventory of service assemblies and hardwareGuide users through diagnostic processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and written instructionsApply knowledge of robot user interface and technical documentationPrototype, build, and troubleshoot experimental hardware alongside engineering teams and researchers as required.Desired SkillsPractical hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems and fabricationProfessional experience in maintenance, installation, service work in a related industryComputer skills (e-mail, spreadsheets) required, with command line or Linux being a plusPhysically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassistedAbility to explain technical issues to varied audiencesAble to obtain a PassportValid driver’s license with a good driving recordAbility to travel via plane, train, or motor-vehicleThe pay range for this position is between $28 to $34 per hour. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
