Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our High Volume Italian Restaurant & culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for innovative menu development. This role involves overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and managing staff to maintain a high level of service in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment Oversee menu planning, development, and execution to ensure variety, quality, and presentation standards are met Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, food production, and minimizing waste Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen Coordinate with catering and banquet departments to deliver large-scale events seamlessly Monitor food preparation processes to uphold consistency and excellence in taste and presentation Oversee shift management, scheduling staff rotations to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours Collaborate with restaurant management on operational improvements and customer satisfaction initiatives Train new staff members on food handling, safety procedures, and service standards Maintain an active role in food service management to ensure timely delivery of orders Experience Proven banquet experience with a strong background in catering for large events Supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting Extensive culinary experience with a focus on fine dining cuisine Demonstrated leadership skills in managing kitchen teams and overseeing daily operations Experience in inventory management, cost control, and food production processes Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety regulations Background in menu planning, kitchen management, and food service operations Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including serving protocols and restaurant management Prior experience working within the food industry with a focus on culinary excellence and team leadership Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $100,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
