BASIC FUNCTIONS
The Data Analyst will support the development of analytical solutions, build and maintain the dashboards that drive day-to-day operations, and partner with stakeholders across the business to turn data into decisions. As part of Blue Raven’s Digital Services team, this role will support data driven decision-making across the organization. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out all assigned tasks.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Own the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of Domo dashboards that serve as primary operational and strategic decision-making tools across the business.
Conduct end-to-end analyses on business questions spanning DLA procurement activity, OEM partner analytics, modeling and forecasting, adhoc business needs.
Write production-quality SQL against our data warehouse to support both ad hoc analysis and recurring reporting.
Develop Python scripts and automated workflows to streamline data processing, validation, and analytical pipelines.
Build and extend Domo dataflows, MagicETL transformations, and Beast Modes; contribute JavaScript-based custom visualizations and dashboard enhancements where standard tooling falls short
Partner directly with stakeholders across Triman, CTG, and corporate functions to scope analytical needs, deliver insights, and drive adoption of data products
Take ownership of data quality across deliverables - including rigorous validation, reconciliation, and QA - before work leaves your hands
Document analytical methodology, data sources, business rules, and assumptions clearly enough that your work can be understood, audited, and built upon by others
Identify opportunities to improve our analytics capabilities, dashboard performance, and data infrastructure, and bring those forward proactively
This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out all assigned tasks.
STANDARD REQUIREMENTS
Comply with all requirements of International Standard ISO9001 and ISO27001, NIST 800-171, CMMC – Cyber Security and Informational Data Security Requirements. Aerospace Management System Standards AS9100, AS9120, IDEA-QMS-9090, ASA-100 and supporting construct standards AS6081, IDEA-STD-1010, AC7402-CAAP, CCAP-101, FAA AC00-56, ANSI/ESD S20.20 and C-TPAT. All employees shall commit and comply with the requirements of AS5553 for Counterfeit Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) Parts – Avoidance, Detection, Mitigation and Disposition practices.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / COMPENTENCY
2-4 years of professional experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or comparable role with substantive hands-on analytical work
Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL or similar), with the ability to write performant queries against complex schemas
Hands-on Python experience for data manipulation, automation, and analysis (pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production dashboards in Domo (preferred) or comparable BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
A track record of owning analytical work end-to-end, including scoping with stakeholders, executing analysis, validating outputs, and presenting findings clearly
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical findings into business language
High attention to detail and a habit of validating your own work before sharing it
Experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools, preferred.
FP&A experience
Familiarity with supply chain, defense, aerospace, or distribution analytics
Experience working with government data sources (DLA, federal procurement data)

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
