Job Title: Network Technician (Network Support Specialist)Location: Columbia, SC 29201 (Onsite)Job Type: ContractOverview:We are seeking an experienced Network Support Specialist to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environments across critical sites. This role involves hands-on wired and wireless network support, infrastructure projects, and participation in an on-call rotation.Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and resolve wired and wireless network issuesManage help desk tickets, network account onboarding/offboarding, and infrastructure incidentsParticipate in on-call rotation every 3 weeks for critical network outages (Level 1 & Level 2 support)Assist with network rollouts, upgrades, cleanups, and infrastructure improvement projectsSupport Microsoft administration tasks including Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, Group Policy, and user provisioningPerform basic Windows Server administration, monitoring, patching, and maintenanceMaintain network documentation and asset inventoryTravel Requirement: Travel within the state as needed (no overnight travel unless scheduled in advance)Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience troubleshooting wired and wireless networks5+ years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server environments5+ years of customer service experienceStrong hands-on networking and problem-solving skillsPreferred Skills: Experience with wiring closets and Ruckus switchesFamiliarity with Deskpro ticketing systemExperience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group PolicyEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experienceAdditional Requirements: Comfortable working independently and in a teamStrong communication and documentation skills
