The Role Our Client is seeking a Senior Paid Advertising Strategist to lead performance marketing strategy and execution across complex, high-value accounts. This is a senior leadership position designed for an expert who can navigate challenging client conversations with confidence and leverage advanced channel knowledge to drive results tied to broader business goals. The successful candidate will own the entire campaign lifecycle—from planning and QA to proactive communication—while mentoring junior talent and elevating overall account performance. Key Responsibilities Strategic Execution & Media Buying Leads performance marketing strategy across marquee accounts, ensuring consistent delivery against complex client goals.Demonstrates expert-level proficiency in at least two major ad channels (e.g., Google/Bing, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, or Snapchat).Leads proactive, strategic conversations around media buying, performance opportunities, and complex optimization plans.Conducts thorough QA and manages accurate budget pacing to protect client revenue and maximize efficiency. Advanced Analytics & Measurement Analyzes campaign data and client-specific "sources of truth" (including MMTs) to develop actionable insights and high-level strategic recommendations.Applies advanced technical knowledge across attribution, incrementality, contribution analysis, and measurement frameworks (MMTs/LRAs).Maintains consistent upkeep of client testing roadmaps and manages the project lifecycle of strategic next steps. Leadership & Workflow Innovation Serves as a key strategic leader within the department, influencing the direction and decision-making of account teams.Mentors and supports the growth of junior talent through coaching, knowledge-sharing, and active participation in team ceremonies.Leverages AI technologies and proprietary ecosystem tools to enhance workflows, outputs, and overall business efficiency.Completes new business appraisals as needed to support the growth of the paid advertising product. Required Qualifications Experience: 4–5 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3+ years specifically in an agency setting.Technical Mastery: 3–4 years of hands-on experience in 2+ paid advertising channels (Google/Bing, Meta, TikTok, etc.), including expert knowledge of funnel marketing.Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Google Analytics and the ability to formulate meaningful "stories" from complex marketing data.Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills; highly confident with client-facing presentations and navigating difficult conversations.Professional Traits: Self-motivated, highly dependable, and proactive with strong organizational and time-management skills.
