Program Director

TASS Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Director to lead the daily operations of our specialized rehabilitation program serving individuals with brain injuries and related neurological challenges.This leadership role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in healthcare operations, team development, regulatory compliance, and person-centered service delivery. The Program Director plays a vital role in ensuring excellence in care, staff leadership, organizational performance, and community representation.Position SummaryThe Program Director is responsible for overseeing all administrative functions and client service operations of the program. This individual ensures high-quality service delivery, staff accountability, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and a safe, supportive environment for clients and employees. Availability by telecommunications and ability to respond onsite as needed is required.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & OperationsProvide day-to-day oversight of program operations, staffing, scheduling, and service deliveryLead, supervise, mentor, and develop all program staffFoster a positive, professional workplace culture through leadership by exampleEnsure the facility remains organized, professional, and tour-ready at all timesConduct facility tours, interviews, and represent the organization in the community and at conferencesClient ServicesOversee referrals, admissions, transitions, and dischargesEnsure individualized service plans are implemented effectivelyPromote continuity of care through strong communication with staff, families, and outside providersResolve client and staff concerns in a timely and professional mannerCompliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with all licensing standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulationsOversee infection control, fire safety, emergency preparedness, and organizational safety initiativesMonitor incidents, documentation systems, and corrective action plansMaintain current CPR and First Aid certificationHuman Resources & Staff DevelopmentConduct hiring interviews and onboarding processesMaintain employee records and oversee performance evaluationsCoordinate training, continuing education, and competency developmentSupport counseling, coaching, and corrective action processes as neededFinancial & Administrative ManagementReview and manage annual budgetsPrepare and submit payrollOversee timekeeping systemsMaintain and reconcile petty cashCoordinate transportation and operational logisticsQualificationsEducation / ExperienceQualified candidates must meet one of the following:Master’s degree in healthcare administration, health and human services, or related field; orBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university plus two years of experience in healthcare, social services, management, or administration; orSix years of combined education and/or experience in healthcare, social services, management, or administration in lieu of degreeAdditional Requirements:Must be at least 21 years of ageStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExperience with staff supervision and development requiredKnowledge of post-acute rehabilitation services preferred Why Join Us?At TASS Stroke & Brain Injury, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a mission-driven program that changes lives every day.
