Release Manager
Title: Release Manager Location: Washington, DC- 4 days HybridDuration: 12+ MonthsJob Description:We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to support an enterprise application program built on the OutSystems low-code platform. The project has multiple development and Scrum teams in place, with a major production release planned for October.The Release Manager will own overall release coordination and ensure that development, testing, approvals, dependencies, environments, and deployment activities are aligned for a successful production release.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end release plan, release calendar, and production deployment activities.Coordinate across OutSystems Developers, Scrum Masters, QA, Product, Business, DevOps, and support teams.Track release scope, user stories, defects, dependencies, risks, and readiness through Azure DevOps.Ensure development, QA, UAT, and release approvals are completed before production deployment.Coordinate deployments across Development, Test/QA, UAT, and Production environments.Lead release-readiness meetings and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.Develop and manage cutover, deployment, validation, and rollback/backout plans.Identify release risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies and drive them to resolution.Coordinate production deployment and post-release validation/hypercare activities.Ensure releases follow established change management, governance, and release management processes.Required SkillsStrong experience as a Release Manager / Technical Release Manager / Application Release Manager.Hands-on experience working with Azure DevOps for release tracking, pipelines, work items, or deployment coordination.Strong understanding of CI/CD, application deployments, release management, and environment management.Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based enterprise application environments.Strong experience coordinating multiple technical and business teams.Knowledge of testing, UAT, production readiness, change management, and release governance.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, risk management, and organizational skills.PreferredExperience with OutSystems or another low-code development platform.Experience managing releases for large enterprise applications.Familiarity with OutSystems application lifecycle and deployments across multiple environments.EEO: Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.
