Local Team Collaboration: Join our growing team of four physicians and two advanced practice clinicians at AdventHealth Lenexa City Center. Work alongside a diverse group of clinicians who bring a variety of geographic, educational, and training backgrounds to our team. Our advanced practice clinicians practice to the top of their scope, with support from attending physicians when needed. Teamwork is at the heart of our culture, with colleagues always ready to lend a hand during procedures or shift changes. Many team members actively participate in hospital committees, such as the medical executive committee, and lead initiatives to improve patient care and update order sets. We are a family-oriented group committed to your wellness and combating burnout. We value work-life balance and provide regular opportunities for engagement and feedback through monthly remote and in-person meetings. Qualifications: Board-certified/eligible internal medicine or family medicine physicians. Accepting new graduates, residents, and fellows. Flexible Scheduling: 12-hour shifts; 7 a.m.-7 p.m. We're always there to support each other when covering shifts. Full-time employment is 182 shifts per year. Key Responsibilities: See a wide variety of diseases while having specialists readily available in a new community-based hospital with multispecialty support. Work in coordination with an intensivist team that handles all procedures, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical decision-making. Utilize Cerner with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.
