This role will support a variety of programs to ensure students are trained in a manner that is in alignment with the curriculum.This is a part-time position with no more than 19 hours of week.Responsibilities and Duties:Create a learning environment that enhances the student's ability to use conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.Oversight of all equipment, warranties, software/modules upgrades, supplies, and appropriate inventoryProgram simulators management.Set up simulation roomsEnsure simulators are functioning properly with routine checksPerform routine maintenance and repairs as instructed by manufacturers as necessaryTravel to various NCTC campuses for monitoring and updates on simulation equipmentOrdering of supplies for the work areaEnsuring set up and break down of items needed for simulated activities.Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change based on the needs of the department and the institution. Required EducationAssociates degree in related field requiredBachelors degree in Nursing preferredPossession of (or eligible for) RN licensure in the State of Texas preferredRequired Skills & AbilitiesMust be knowledgeable in writing across the curriculum, study skill techniques, and communicate well with others.Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, walk, climb and move bulky equipment.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Basic computer skills.Microsoft Office proficient.Exhibition of respect and professionalism in a spirit of collegialityPreferred Skills & AbilitiesRequired ExperienceTwo (2) years related experience in maintenance, repair, and technical support of simulation equipment and/or medical device systems in a large healthcare delivery setting.Must have a working knowledge of medical equipment such as ventilators and defibrillators.Preferred ExperienceExperience in a simulation/training center environment.Background in health care strongly preferred.Posting Date09/15/2025Closing DateSpecial Instructions to ApplicantsSubject to criminal background check.
