As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity.  Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:· Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans· Prepare radioactive isotopes for administration to patients in accordance with physicians' orders and record dosages accordingly· Perform diagnostic studies on patients using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and produce images of organs on photographic film· Position patients and adjust immobilization devices· Compassionately explain procedures to patients and address any concerns· Monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation· May assist with transporting patients as needed Qualifications:Associate DegreeGraduate of an accredited and AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training programClear/active State of Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)Current Nuclear Medicine credential: NMTCB or ARRT (N)Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist requiredCurrent basic life support (BLS) certification upon hire; ACLS within 6 months of hireAbility to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs BenefitsHCA Florida Brandon Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
