This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage scientific expertise in a dynamic legal environment, advising cutting-edge clients in the emerging technology sector.Candidate ProfileBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics with an excellent academic record2+ years of substantive experience in patent preparation and prosecutionExperience in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, wireless communications, sensors, semiconductors, Internet of Things, optics, or related fields is highly advantageousWorking proficiency in Microsoft Office softwareStrong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and writing skills, with an exceptional attention to technical detail and effective organizational and communication skillsKey ResponsibilitiesWork with inventors and attorneys to prepare and prosecute patent applications in emerging technology areasIdentify inventions through technical discussions with inventorsPerform novelty and clearance searches to delineate inventions from existing technologiesDraft comprehensive patent applications and negotiate the scope of patent rights with the USPTOPrepare reports and support documentation for patent portfolio managementWhy Join Us?This is an exceptional opportunity to join a prominent IP law practice at a leading law firm.
