Programmer Analyst

Location: Houston, TX Job Type: Contract Job Description: As a Consulting Programmer Analyst, work on Illustration software development. Some of the challenges of this position are working quickly yet diligently to meet aggressive deadlines. We are also expanding and changing to new web and desktop applications. Responsibilities: Designing and developing new products; enhance already existing products Support the team by developing best practices and standards Analyze, design and implement solutions according to requirements Cooperate and work effectively with other team members on tasks at hand Perform source code management Troubleshooting issues and problems reported by users Assist and/or perform software deployment/installation Unit test thoroughly Qualifications: Bachelors in Computer Science Degree or related field At least 5+ years of programming experience Experience in developing Insurance Illustration software. Proficient in Visual C++, C++, MFC, COM, ATL COM, Vb.net, C#, JavaScript, XML, .Net 2.0, 3.5 or 4.0 Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and planning skills Ability to be detail-oriented, creative, persistent and self-motivated Strong in analyzing, designing, coding and implementing solutions based on business needs Strong analytical skills V3Main offers excellent careers opportunities for professionals who possess outstanding interpersonal skills and are results-oriented team players.
