Materials Vendor Coordinator

Job Summary Act as liaison between customer, shipping and receiving and production to ensure on-time delivery of quality product on a JIT Oust in time) basis and that all customer specific requirements are met. Pay: Salary plus Overtime after 50 hours Duties Coordinate JIT product shipments against customer releases and purchase orders Coordinate special customer requests and respond accordingly Coordination of product between EBM and subcontractors Monitor Eagle Bend delivery/service performance; take corrective action where appropriate to ensure customer specific requirements are met Perpetual inventory analysis and investigation of shortages/overages and that inventory targets are met Participate in regular scheduled physical inventories and cycle counts as required Coordination of new program launches to ensure timely delivery and customer specific requirements are met Coordinate program build outs of old product lines and bank builds as needed Answer customer portals at window scheduled times accurately Know, comply and support all Company, SH&E, TS16949 and ISO14001 requirements, policies, procedures and work instructions Escalate all potential customer risks to EBM management and customers (per customer specific requirements) Qualifications Prior Inventory Control experience a requirement, preferably in manufacturing Strong customer service skills Ability to handle multiple critical deadlines Inventory flow, JIT principles, automotive background preferred 2-5 years' experience working with vendors Ability to work overtime hours is required and rotating weekends Skills Excellent computer skills ( Microsoft Excel, WordPerfect and/or Microsoft Word) Accuracy and attention to detail is required with computer skills Analytical and problem solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities for various customers (internal and external) Individual needs to have a firm understanding of how inventory JIT flows Individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to represent Eagle Bend to the customer with the utmost professionalism Understanding of how their decisions affect other departments Strong interpersonal skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $58,000.00 per year Experience: Automobile Manufacturing: 2 years (Required) dealing with vendors and suppliers: 2 years (Required) Ability to Relocate: Clinton, TN 37716: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
