Bring your skills and pride to a team that values quality and dedication.DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position plays a key role in supporting the maintenance and repair needs of Warren State Hospital. You will work across many trades to keep the facility safe, functional, and well maintained. As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform the following duties:Carpentry Work:Construct or repair walls, ceilings, cabinets, floors, and other wood structures across the facilityMasonry Tasks:Complete concrete work, brick and block laying, footer work, and other masonry projectsElectrical Repairs:Replace switches, wiring, receptacles, and circuits while supporting general electrical needsPlumbing Duties:Clear drains, repair or replace fixtures, and maintain water and heating systemsMetal Fabrication:Operate machinery to cut, shape, or repair metal components for buildings and equipmentHVAC Maintenance:Work with steam, hot water, gas-fired appliances, cooling systems, and refrigeration unitsInterested in learning more? Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);orFour years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades;orAny equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.Special Requirement:This position requires possession ofa valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.Other Requirements:You must meet thePA residency requirement.
