Project Cost Controller Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 + Bonus DOE!Project / Cost Controller - Why This Opportunity Stands OutHigh-visibility role supporting multi-million dollar capital projectsJoin a rapidly growing, publicly traded energy/infrastructure companyDirect exposure to senior leadership and operational teamsOpportunity to own project financials end-to-end (not just transactional work)Strong runway for growth as the company continues major expansion over the next 3-5 yearsCollaborative, fast-moving environment with real impact on business decisionsProject / Cost Controller - Key ResponsibilitiesTrack and monitor budget-to-actual spend across large-scale construction projects; analyze variances and provide forecastsPartner with Operations and project teams to understand cost drivers, progress, and financial risksPerform detailed cost analysis across labor, materials, equipment, overhead, and subcontractorsPrepare project cost reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to support decision-makingEstablish and maintain project budgets, cost codes, and tracking within ERP (SAP/WBS preferred)Review and validate invoices, purchase orders, and change orders for accuracy and complianceCollaborate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and recommend corrective actionsSupport monthly close including accruals, reconciliations, and project-level reportingEnsure project financials align with GAAP and internal controls and roll into broader segment reportingProject / Cost Controller - Qualifications5-8+ years of project or cost accounting experience, ideally supporting capital projectsExperience with ERP systems (SAP/WBS strongly preferred) and project tracking environmentsBackground in construction, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects highly preferredStrong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, AFE tracking, and cost controlsAccounting degree required; CPA or public accounting background is a plus#LI-MG10 #INAPR2026
