Project Coordinator Intern FLSA Exemption: Non-Exempt, hourly Reports to: Project Manager Details:2-3 months projected duration$18.00 - $22.00 hourlyPart-timeMust be able to commute to the LHM Construction offices, located in Sandy, Utah, as well as to nearby active job sites (Downtown Daybreak in South Jordan) Job Description: The Project Coordinator Intern will play a vital role in supporting project managers and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from start to completion. Primary Duties Assist project managers in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgetsCoordinate meetings, site visits, and conference calls with stakeholdersTrack project progress and update project schedules accordinglyServe as a liaison between project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team membersAssist with obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveriesHelp with the coordination of subcontractor activities, including scheduling, payments, and performance evaluationsCoordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to project sites, ensuring timely arrival and proper inventory managementAssist in conducting site inspections and audits to identify and address quality and safety concernsMaintain records of safety meetings, inspections, and incident reportsManage project-related correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and written communicationsProvide administrative support to project managersTake site photos and save site documents to Dropbox Experience & SkillsHS diploma or equivalentProficiency in project manager software and Microsoft officeStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyKnowledge of construction processes, terminology, and best practicesFamiliarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standardsDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality Physical RequirementsThis position requires frequent walking, standing, and climbing stairs in/around construction site, apartment homes, models, and propertiesThis position requires working outdoors in all weather conditions (to include but limited to, rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet), around hazardous chemicals, dust, dirt, and other particulatesMust have the ability to read and comprehend large quantities of information, operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry up to 40 lbs. independentlyRegularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about office settingTo perform other duties as required Note: The need may arise to revise, supplement, or rescind portions of this job description, and #LHMRE reserves the right to do so at any time.
