Snowflake +DBT Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Snowflake +DBT Developer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on designing Snowflake data warehouse solutions and implementing SQL-based ELT pipelines while optimizing performance and ensuring data quality .Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Snowflake +DBT Developer job responsibilities include:Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions.Build, test, and deploy dbt models (staging, intermediate, marts) following best practices.Implement and optimize SQL-based ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data transformations.Monitor and enhance Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, and query tuning.Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define data models and transformation logic.Maintain data quality through dbt tests, documentation, version control, and CI/CD workflows.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.6-8 years of experience in data engineering, ELT development, or modern data stack implementation.Strong proficiency in SQL, Snowflake architecture, and performance optimization as required by the client.Hands-on experience building and deploying dbt models (Core or Cloud) aligned with the client's data workflows.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
