Electronic Payments Fraud Analyst
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONThe Electronic Payments Fraud Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and investigating potential fraud across ACH, FedNow, and RTP transactions. The position ensures compliance with updated NACHA requirements, strengthens fraud prevention controls, and supports the integrity of the organization's electronic payment operations. This role provides ongoing risk assessment, reporting, and escalation support to leadership.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Conduct daily reviews of ACH, FedNow, and RTP transactions to identify anomalies, unusual customer behavior, or indicators of potential fraud.2. Collaborate with internal department as well as external financial institutions to validate transactions, resolve disputes, and coordinate fraud related inquiries3. Oversee risk assessments, internal audits, and ongoing control reviews for FedNow and other real time payment services.4. Communicate fraud strategies to assist in keeping the bank safe and prevent future fraud events.5. Stay up to date on fraud and updates management on a weekly basis.6. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.7. Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.8.
