Warehouse Shipping Auditor-Night
Position Summary and Responsibilities
The purpose of the Night Shipping Auditor is to ensure BEK product selected for delivery is correct, accurate, and wholesome
Inspect selector pallets in the warehouse during the shift to ensure order accuracy.
Observe all outbound pallets to minimize damage during the delivery process and to ensure they are in good shipping order.
Collaborate with designated supervisors to coordinate and train employees that have repeated errors during selection and/or delivery to maximize operational efficiency.
Maintain awareness of all work environments to ensure operational safety during assigned shift.
Follow up on deliveries to dark drop accounts to ensure all products have been delivered correctly and accounted for.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
At least 1 year of selecting experience required at branch location
Favorable driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions
Good computer skills; ability to learn internal applications
Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold and hot)
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with and train others
Self-starter with ability to multi-task
Excellent organization skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Customer-focused
Strong attention to detail
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks as needed
High School graduate or GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
