Angular Lead (Angular, AWS, Node.js)Location: Atlanta, GAExperience: 12+ YearsOverviewKey ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance web applications using Angular.Architect and build back-end services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of front-end and full-stack developers.Own end-to-end technical architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA/SDET teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Drive code reviews, enforce coding standards, and champion engineering best practices.Oversee CI/CD pipeline design and deployment strategy in partnership with DevOps.Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root-cause analysis efforts.Stay current with emerging Angular, Node.js, and AWS capabilities and recommend adoption where relevant.Required Skills & Qualifications12+ years of overall software development experience, with significant hands-on experience in Angular (Angular 8+; latest versions preferred).Strong expertise in Node.js for building scalable back-end services and APIs.Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, CloudFormation/CDK, or similar).Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and system integration.Experience with TypeScript, RxJS, and state management libraries (NgRx or similar).Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline).Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.).Strong grasp of security best practices, performance optimization, and scalable system design.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.Prior experience in airline, travel, or large-scale enterprise systems is a plus.
