Role: Assembler - Structural involves assembling aircraft structural sections using parts, subassemblies, and components, adhering to blueprints and specifications.ResponsibilitiesSafely operate hand and power tools to assemble structural aircraft sections.Drill holes, attach brackets, hinges, and clips, and ensure parts fit and align within tolerances.Inspect and test installed units for proper function and fit using measuring instruments.Tend machines like riveters and presses for fastening operations.Assist and guide team members, maintain a clean workspace, and perform additional duties as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Experience of at least 1 year in related assembly work.Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math operations.Proficiency with measuring tools such as gauges and calipers.Strong attention to detail, dependability, and ability to work independently.Effective communication skills and safety awareness.
