Job Summary
Work under the direction of the Assistant General Manager. Assist in purchases of food and related supplies. Assist in plans and procedures. Provide guidance on employee problems, and initiate training programs, safety programs, sanitation program, equipment maintenance, and quality control program. Perform duties as Senior Supervisor in his/her/their absence.
Primary Duties

Ensure that all applicable training takes place for the (Front of House) FOH associates on a weekly, monthly or annual basis as needed.
Routinely check foods on serving lines and during meal periods to record temperatures in log, routinely check refrigeration temperatures and dish machine temperature and record in log.
Before and after meal periods count and ensure proper handling of cash procedures are followed.
Daily inspect food preparation and or production.
Supervise the serving lines during all meal periods
Additional Responsibilities
Inform Unit Manager of any maintenance repairs.
Post daily menus for the current/next day meals and post forecast.
Perform daily facility inspections and forward reports of deficiencies to the Unit Manager.
Perform pre-service meeting with FOH Associates.
Perform personnel hygiene inspections on an unannounced inspection schedule
Perform inventories on all supplies and equipment as required
Perform quality control inspections in all areas of the contract
Schedule and staff personnel to workstations. Adhere to all local, state and federal safety and environmental codes, ordinances, standards and laws. Adhere to all Network and /or Affiliate safety plans, policies, practices and standards.
Be aware of and follow all safety rules of your work site. Report all unsafe conditions or accidents to your supervisor. Practice standard precautions (formerly universal precautions) at all times.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
Some college preferred.
Five years experience in managing a cafeteria or multi-full food service facility preferred.
Current certification from an approved sanitation program required.
Serve-Safe Certification required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be able to pass and maintain a Tier 5 FBI Security Clearance required.
Must be thoroughly knowledgeable in the following areas: sanitation, conducting training, security, food preparation, customer relations, menu selection, safety and accident prevention, equipment maintenance.
Must have the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community and environment.
Requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Basic ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office software.
