This job is located in Winston, GA and is a day or night shift jobDay Shift HoursMon - Thurs 6:00am - 3:00pmFri - 6:00 am - 12:00pmNight Shift HoursMon - Thurs: 3:00pm - 1:30amFri: OffWe are looking for a CNC Mill and Lathe Machinist - Not a manual machinistMust know Mazak with live tooling, Mazak controls programming, Mazatrol, Conversational programming and have experience with Haas machinesWould like you to have basic tools to start (not a dealbreaker). After 90 days the company can begin taking payroll deductions to assist you with purchasing additional tools that may be needed.• Set up machines for production components.• Machine/fabricate standard and special components.• Continuous inspection of components while in process.• Complete secondary operations as required.• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while following all safety standards.• Complete machinery maintenance and repairs as required.• Responsible for stock of all shop tooling.• Record notations of necessary up-dates or changes to drawings.• Assure production schedule and ship dates are met consistently.• Inform management of potential problems, while participating and incorporating solutions for problems. • Supervise and train fellow employees when necessary.Requirements• Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data.• Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations.• Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others.• Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.• Quickly understands and analyzes complex issues and problems; comes up with sound and rational judgments.• Demonstrates specialist knowledge and expertise in own area; participates in continuous professional development.• Produces fresh and imaginative ideas and solutions; breaks away from tradition; promotes change and novelty.• Communicates in a clear, precise, and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively.
