Business Systems Analyst

Hansen Talent Group is hiring an IT Business Analyst to support a team focused on claims processing initiatives and business requirements management.This role is ideal for a business analyst who enjoys gathering requirements, working closely with technical and business teams, and helping deliver solutions that align with customer and operational needs.This role is hybrid, onsite 3 days/week.What You'll DoGather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for claims processing applicationsWork directly with customers and stakeholders to validate business needs and solution requirementsTranslate business requirements into clear functional documentation for development teamsPartner with technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered accuratelyAssist with defect management, troubleshooting, and solution validation activitiesSupport test planning, test matrices, and other analysis activities to ensure successful deploymentsReview problem logs and help ensure issues are resolved effectivelyGuide business and technical teams throughout the solution development processOrganize and maintain project documentation, workflows, and supporting materialsHelp identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficienciesWhat You'll Need•IT business analysis experienceExperience gathering and documenting business requirementsStrong communication skills with both technical and non-technical teamsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of project plans, scope documents, and testing processesAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environmentsExperience with Microsoft Office toolsFamiliarity with Visio, MS Project, SQL, DB2, or data analysis tools is a plusClaims processing or operations experience is a plusExperience working with government programs or healthcare-related environments is a plusCBAP, HIPAA, or LOMA certifications are a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field OR equivalent experience
