Continuous Improvement Coordinator
The Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible for supporting and driving process improvement initiatives across manufacturing and distribution. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, quality, safety, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and PDCA.Major ResponsibilitiesSupports identification and analysis of process improvement opportunitiesAssists in continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and KaizenCoordinates workshops, value stream mapping sessions, and root cause analysis activitiesEnsures process enhancements are measurable and aligned with organizational goalsCollects and interprets performance data to support informed decision-makingMaintains dashboards and KPIs to monitor process performanceTracks cost savings, efficiency gains, and project ROIPrepares summaries, reports, and presentations for leadership reviewDocuments current and future-state processesAssists in creating and maintaining SOPs and best practices documentationSupports compliance with internal standards and quality requirementsCollaborates with DC leadership and cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiativesSupports change management effortsCommunicates project updates, progress and results to key stakeholdersMinimum Job RequirementsAssociates degree or equivalent experience2 years of experience in process improvement, operations, manufacturing, quality or similar roles.Preferred Job RequirementsAssociates DegreeLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black BeltKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesKnowledge of Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5 Whys, DMAIC)Project management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications: Excel, Teams, Outlook, and WordExcellent communication skills with the ability to support change management and gain stakeholder engagementDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsOffice Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
