Salesforce DevOps Engineer/Environment ManagerLocationUS-SC-North CharlestonID2026-11071CategorySystems EngineerPosition TypeRegular Full-TimeApplication Open Date3/26/2026DescriptionScientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer / Environment Manager to support the Cloud Service Integration Team (CSIT), delivering secure and scalable Salesforce solutions for multiple Department of Defense (DoD) customers. This role is pivotal in managing the lifecycle of Salesforce environments, driving automation, and ensuring high-performance deployments across mission-critical platforms.Job Duties:
Administering and maintaining Salesforce test, production, and sandbox environments, including refresh strategies and configuration alignmentPlaning and executing Salesforce release deployments in sync with organizational release cycles, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency
Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git/Bitbucket and Salesforce DX to streamline build, test, and deployment processes
Monitoring and maintaining the health, performance, and security of Salesforce environments, proactively addressing issues and responding to incidents
Working closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure smooth release cycles

Proficiency with Salesforce DX, Git/Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipeline development
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, metadata, and deployment strategies
Experience supporting secure cloud environments for government or enterprise clients
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
Security+ CertificationDesired SkillsBachelor's degree in engineering and two to four years of work-related experience
Experience with DoD Salesforce platforms
Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, DevOps Center, Administrator)
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Atlassian Suite
Prior experience supporting DoD or federal government clients
Understanding of cloud security principles and FedRAMP compliance
