Job Title: Event StaffJob Type: Full-timeLocation: Saint Louis, MOJob SummaryEvent Staff are responsible for ensuring that events run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves assisting with event setup, managing guest relations, coordinating logistics, and providing on-site support during the event. Ideal candidates are energetic, customer service-oriented, and able to work well in fast-paced environments.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Setup & Teardown: Assist with setting up event venues, including arranging furniture, setting up stages, displays, or booths, and ensuring all equipment is properly functioning.Crowd Control: Manage crowd flow, ensure safety regulations are followed, and assist in maintaining orderly movement during the event.Logistics Support: Coordinate with vendors, caterers, performers, and other service providers to ensure the event schedule runs smoothly.Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that event spaces are clean and presentable throughout the event.Problem-Solving: Respond quickly to any issues that arise, such as technical difficulties, guest complaints, or emergency situations, and escalate problems to the Event Manager if necessary.Event Monitoring: Observe attendee behavior to ensure a positive experience and maintain event safety protocols.On-Site Coordination: Work with security teams, maintenance crews, and management to ensure the event adheres to the planned timeline.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to stand for long periods and carry/move event materials (up to 50 lbs)Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule
