IndyCar Event Intern - St. Louis

We are looking for eager, highly motivated, and friendly individuals aspiring to work in the sports and entertainment industry and are willing to travel.As an event staff team member for FanGate Solutions, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in ticketing, event management, hospitality management, and guest services. Event staff will receive training on: giving top notch customer service to exceed our client's expectations and increase fans overall experience, as well as venue information.This position is for one race weekend event based in St. Louis. Would you like to experience working at a INDYCAR race event helping thousands of race fans? We provide staffing for WWT Raceway's INDYCAR race weekend on June 6th-7th. Team members will be performing the following positions: Ticket Sellers, Ticket Takers, Parking Seller, Parking Attendant, Hospitality Check-In, Guest Service Representative.Responsibilities:Aid guests with accurate race day and promotional informationSelling and/or picking up event tickets at box office locationsProvide problem solving techniques to assist all customer inquiries and concernsRepresent FanGate Solutions and its clients in a professional and ethical mannerPunctual and self-motivated with an attention to detailCommunicate all pertinent information with clients and guestsProvide & maintain the highest level of customer service to clients and guestsReview event tickets and give accurate information on seating locationPerform other duties & responsibilities as assigned by managersQualifications and Requirements:Willing to commute to St. Louis on the weekend of June 6th-7thAbility to work untraditional hours including weekends and eveningsCollege student majoring in sport management, hospitality management, communications, marketing, or related fields is a plusEager to start & build a career in sports and live entertainmentAbility to deliver exceptional service by anticipating the guests' needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional mannerStrong interpersonal skills that complement a team-oriented work ethicMust be neat and presentable at all timesMust be 18 years of age or older with at least a high school diploma or GEDDuration and Pay:Work event on June 6th and 7th outside of St. Louis, IL at World Wide Technology Raceway.
