Job Description
Riverhawk Company is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our dynamic team in New Hartford, NY. As an Electronics Assembler, you will play a vital role in the assembly and manufacturing process of our electronic products. We are looking for candidates who possess a high level of precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with varied disciplines within the company.What You'll Do:Perform basic electronic assembly skillsHave knowledge of proper soldering techniques including printed circuit assembly and basic wiring skills a plusAssemble simple mechanical/electro assemblies using soldering ironsWork under microscope and or other magnification deviceWork using a multimeter and other basic hand tools Work with epoxies and other types of adhesivesPopulate simple planner and or thru hole mount Printed Circuit Board AssembliesWind magnet wire onto Bobbin, and solder wires to magnet wireInterpret assembly drawings, soldering procedures and manufacturing and assembly processesWork with production to maintain product flowAdhere to company documentsBe able to maintain expected production ratesAbide by safety guidelines set forth by OSHA, DEC, and Riverhawk CompanyWhat We Need:A high school diploma or GEDA minimum of one year of experience in an electronics-related position is preferred, but not requiredThe ability to work with all employees across all departments, including quality, engineering, and manufacturingWhat You Get:Pay: $16.50 – 18.00 an hour (please note that this range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skills, and education as they relate to the position's qualifications.)96 hours of PTO and an additional 56 hours of paid sick leave annually for new hires, with additional PTO added after five years of serviceTen paid holidaysDiscretionary bonuses based on company performanceOutstanding medical insurance with a company funded health reimbursement account (HRA) to cover medical billsChoice of two dental insurance optionsVision insuranceImmediate 100% vesting in Company 401(k) Plan with 3% Company ContributionCompany paid short term disability insurance and $25,000 life insurance policy with the option to purchase long term disability insurance and additional life insurance if interestedTuition assistance and professional development opportunitiesRiverhawk Company is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected factors.Applicants who we wish to join our team will receive a conditional offer, pending the successful completion of a four panel drug test and a background screen.
