Job SummaryOur client, a full-service marketing and advertising agency specializing in DTC ecommerce, is seeking an experienced Director of Paid Media to oversee and drive their paid search and paid social media strategies. This fully remote position will involve managing a talented team of 12 paid media buyers, ensuring the successful execution of campaigns across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agency work, experience managing large teams, and a deep understanding of the DTC ecommerce landscape. With the growing importance of platforms like TikTok, experience with TikTok shops is highly desirable.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Manage, mentor, and lead a team of 12 paid media buyers, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the agency’s strategic goals and are performing at their highest potential.Paid Media Strategy: Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive paid search and paid social media strategies for DTC ecommerce clients, focusing on driving ROI and achieving client objectives.Campaign Management: Monitor and optimize paid media campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring they meet performance benchmarks.Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their business goals, providing strategic insights and recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness.TikTok and Emerging Platforms: Leverage experience with TikTok shops and other emerging platforms to innovate and expand the agency’s paid media offerings.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the VP of Integrated Media and other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated media strategies across all channels.Performance Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics to track campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize media spend and maximize results.Remote Team Management: Foster a positive and productive remote work environment, ensuring clear communication, team cohesion, and continuous professional development.Required QualificationsSignificant experience in an agency environment, with a focus on managing large teams.Strong background in DTC ecommerce, with a proven track record of successful paid media campaigns.Expertise in paid search and paid social media, including hands-on experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other major platforms.Proficiency in managing and optimizing campaigns across TikTok, with experience in TikTok shops being a significant advantage.Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing remote teams.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.Preferred QualificationsExperience with other emerging social media platforms or digital advertising technologies.Advanced certifications in Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, or other relevant platforms.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present strategies and results to clients and senior leadership effectively.Reports To: Vice President of Integrated MediaWork Environment And CultureWork Style: Fully remote position with flexible working hours.Culture: Our client’s agency thrives on innovation, collaboration, and a results-driven mindset.
