With 20+ years of experience working with Fortune 500 Companies and over 1500 years of engineering experience on staff, we have a proven track record of solving complex technical problems through customized solutions.Intertec Engineering is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer for a long-term contract supporting one of our Premier Aerospace customers. This SDE will work directly with our customers, and our customers suppliers to evaluate rate readiness assessments. In addition, they will be responsible for identifying potential continuity of supply issues and establish recovery and control plans for resolution.These will be hourly contract roles, and we require this professional to be local to the Phoenix area, since there will be periodic on-site visits to our customers, and may be periodic travel to meet with suppliers in other geographical areas.Roles and Responsibilities:Critical supplier meetings to resolve supply chain issuesResponsible for ownership to lead and support materials ready for site(s)Responsible for Recovery / Control plansReview of drawings with Project Engineering team.Key Skills and Experience:Strong Aerospace Supply Chain experience.Aerospace Manufacturing experience.Experience assisting supplier development with our customers standards including LOB, and FAIR experience.Experienced with DFAR/FAR Contracts and AS9100 requirements to vendors.Administer DFAR/FAR Contracts and AS9100 Requirements to vendors.Aerospace Project Management experience preferred.Experience with Mechanical products supporting casting, forgings, machined parts, composites, and Electro-Mechanical parts.SAP experience in Supply Chain environment preferred.We encourage US Citizens to apply, and only Local (PHX) candidates will be considered.
