Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Position OverviewThe Assembler/Tester B is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and testing operations with minimal supervision to meet production and customer delivery requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly and testing using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, and testing equipment.Utilize fixtures, inspection tools, and measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.Record test results accurately using basic electrical equipment and flow meters.Interpret blueprints, engineering instructions, assembly routes, and test specifications.Assemble and inspect products to ensure compliance with quality and customer standards.Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and suggest process improvements.Maintain a clean, safe, and FOD-free work environment.Ensure tools and equipment are calibrated per schedule.Perform additional duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.1+ year of general mechanical or manufacturing experience preferred.Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.Basic understanding of mechanical processes and assembly techniques.Ability to select appropriate tools, procedures, and techniques.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Key SkillsMechanical aptitudeBlueprint readingAssembly & testingAttention to detailQuality-focused mindsetAbility to work independently and in teams
