About the RoleWe are seeking a Assistant Process Engineer to join our team at our Bell Gardens, CA facility. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations, with a focus on improving efficiency, food safety, quality, and equipment reliability.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing technology, troubleshoot production issues, and implement process improvements while identifying and applying new technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze existing processes and equipment to improve process flow, with a focus on continuous improvement in food safety, quality, and production efficiencyCoordinate and support activities to resolve machine, equipment, and utility issuesSupport the Quality team in root cause analysis and corrective actionsManage and assist with preventive maintenance (PM) programsDrive process improvement initiatives and support manufacturing optimization effortsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldExperience in food manufacturing or similar production environmentFamiliarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on engineering mindsetAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environmentCompensation & Benefits$55,000 – $75,000 annually, with final offer will depend on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
