The firm is deeply involved in community efforts, contributing to civic activities, pro bono work, and educational initiatives.Role DescriptionCapell Barnett Matalon & Schoenfeld LLP, a growing law firm with offices on Long Island and New York City, is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our Trusts and Estate Administration practice group. If you meet the qualifications and would like to become part of our team, please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.Key Responsibilities:Proactively support the attorneys with estate administration.Preparation of court documents for estate administration.Obtain EINs for estates/trusts.Estate litigation support.Will and trust drafting.Other administrative support including preparation of engagement letters, billing, updating case lists, assisting with marketing, etc.QualificationsBachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate.Experience as a Trusts and Estates Administration Paralegal.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.Ability to be flexible, handle pressure and adapt to changing work priorities, workflow, and work assignments. Notary Public license is a plus but not required.HotDocs proficiency.What we offer: Billable hour requirement that allows a work/life balance.Paid time off.Health insurance with company contribution towards premium. A robust suite of optional benefits designed to support a wide range of employee needs including flexible spending accounts, 401K, commuter benefits, life insurance, pet insurance, and more. Salary is commensurate with experience.
