Learn more at iehp.org. Role Description This is a contract, on-site role for a Procurement Specialist located in Chino, CA. The Procurement Specialist will oversee the procurement process, including researching vendors, preparing bid documents, analyzing proposals, and negotiating contracts. The role also involves monitoring supplier performance, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate procurement records. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with internal departments to meet procurement needs and optimize operational efficiency. Qualifications Proficiency in vendor research, bid preparation, and contract negotiationExperience with compliance monitoring and contract management processesStrong skills in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial recordkeepingExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teamsAttention to detail and organizational skills to maintain comprehensive procurement documentationFamiliarity with sourcing practices, supply chain management, and procurement software is a plusBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant certifications like CPPB or CPM preferredExperience in the healthcare industry or public sector is advantageous
