Director, Cultivation & Post-HarvestOverview This role leads regional cultivation and post-harvest operations with full ownership of plant production, processing, and performance outcomes. The focus is on building scalable operations, improving efficiency, and consistently delivering high-quality product while meeting regulatory requirements.What You’ll OwnYou’ll take full responsibility for cultivation and post-harvest performance across your region. That includes everything from propagation planning through harvest, drying, trimming, and curing. You’ll work closely with site leadership to align production schedules with demand, ensuring the right inventory levels while maintaining quality standards.You’ll also be accountable for driving operational performance. This means identifying opportunities to increase yield, reduce cost, and improve consistency across facilities. You’ll use data, KPIs, and on-the-ground insights to make decisions that directly impact output and profitability.A big part of the role is building structure and discipline within operations. You’ll establish and refine SOPs, improve workflows, and implement process improvements that make teams more efficient. From ensuring accurate reporting and regulatory adherence to supporting hiring and team development, this role plays a central part in connecting operations to the broader business.Leadership ExpectationsThis is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be expected to coach and develop managers, hold teams accountable to performance goals, and create an environment focused on execution and continuous improvement. Strong communication and the ability to influence across teams will be critical.What You BringYou have a strong background leading cultivation operations at scale and understand the full lifecycle from clone to post-harvest. You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities, working through ambiguity, and making decisions that impact both operations and financial performance.8+ years of leadership experience, including time in a commercial cultivation settingDeep understanding of cultivation operations and post-harvest processesExperience using data and KPIs to drive decisions and improve performanceFamiliarity with crop steering and environmental controlsStrong operational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentYou should also meet all applicable regulatory requirements, including eligibility for state licensing, and be authorized to work in the United States.
