Lead Maritime Mechanic
Position Overview RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Lead Maritime Outboard Mechanic in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This position is contingent upon contract award.Roles and Responsibilities Service and repair the craft and trailers, including light surface craft, Jet Skis, and various models of inboard and outboard motorsService, repair, test, and inspect trailers associated with transporting boats and watercraftProvide assistanceduringthetesting, evaluation, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, steering systems, and onboard equipmentProvide on-the-job training instruction to entry-level mechanicsRequired Qualifications and ExperienceU.S. citizenValid U.S. driver's licensePossess a Secret security clearanceFive years' experience as an Original Equipment Manufacturer-certified mechanic with either Evinrude, Honda, Mercury, Suzuki, or Yamaha commercial, outboard engines, and ancillary equipmentOne year of experience in aluminum and glass-reinforced plastic hull repair,theprocess and proceduresrequiredto make minor/major repairs; to include advanced depot levelFive years' experience with troubleshooting and minor repairs of inboard marine diesel engines manufactured by Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and CumminsCompany OverviewRMGS, Inc. is a growing small business headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
