Legal Support Manager - Media

Each employee is essential to fulfilling our mission and achieving our vision through hard work, dedication, and collaborative spirit.We are currently seeking a Media Manager to join our team.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Assist in the development of media controls and processes to ensure compliance with Firm and Client standards. Said processes shall address the roll media plays throughout the legal process from demand through judgment.Liaison with the production team to assure affidavit and verified pleading requests that rely on media processes are not delayed.Liaison with the EA team on processes relative to acquisition of media from clients assuring consistency and accuracy of established processes.Responsible for the daily supervision of media staffOversee hiring, training, discipline, and growth of team members. Monitor productivity, performance, quality and compliance of the team.Establish and oversee progress on team &/or individual goals. Complete reviews and provide necessary coaching throughout the year based upon progressRespond to escalated media related inquiries from other departmentsEnsure policies and procedures are executed consistently with Firm and Client standardsRespond to all client and audit requests related to mediaConfer with Firm Managers and Executive staff on carrying out Firm objectives, overcoming challenges, completing projects and cultivating the Firm’s reputationFacilitate improvement to current processes and partner with appropriate department for implementation of approved robotic processes.Contribute to client communications and/or performance meetings relative to the status of media requests, processing or utilization.Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)Experience reviewing and applying client manuals or work standards, and detailed procedural details.Ability to implement process changes in coordination with EA team, media team, and other internal departments.Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume deadline driven environment.Exceptional attention to detail particularly with legal documents, media files, naming conventions and client specific requirements.Experience drafting, updating and maintaining work instructions, SOPs, training guides, and related process documentation preferred.FTP experience preferredTraining, coaching or team development experience preferred.Ability to identify recurring issues, document trends, and assist with process improvements to increase accuracy compliance and efficiency.Ability to work efficiently with excellent attention to detail in a high-volume fast paced environmentMinimum five years of relevant work experience in the legal field; equivalent combination of education and/or experience consideredMinimum of five years of relevant work experience in a leadership roleKnowledge of legal terminology and legal document management (e.g., briefs, summonses, complaints, motions, pleadings, and discovery)Familiarity with litigation management software systemsEffective oral and written communication skills with knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation usageProficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point; ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, printer, scanner, and computer; proficient with internet researchAbility to multi-task and manage time effectivelyAbility to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require itAbility to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competenciesAbility to maintain confidentiality
