About UsWe are currently seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team in an Business Litigation Attorney capacity. This role is ideal for a highly skilled litigator with a strong background in business litigation, including declaratory judgment actions, breach of contract, tortious interference, and other commercial disputes.Legal Expertise & Strategic SupportProvide high-level legal advice and analysis in complex litigation matters, particularly in business and commercial disputesOffer strategic input on case development, motion practice, and trial preparationAdvise on declaratory judgment actions, including initiating and defending such claims in state and federal courtsDeclaratory ActionsHandle matters involving declaratory relief, particularly in the context of breach of contract, tortious interference, insurance disputes, and other business-related litigationDraft and review declaratory pleadings, analyze legal issues requiring judicial clarification, and develop litigation strategies based on likely court interpretationsLitigation SupportSupport trial teams by assisting in legal research, drafting dispositive motions, and evaluating evidence and legal theoriesProvide second-chair trial support or oversee specific phases of litigation as neededClient RelationsServe as a key legal advisor to firm clients, particularly in complex or high-stakes mattersMaintain regular communication with clients to update on case developments, legal risks, and potential outcomesMentorship & CollaborationMentor and collaborate with partners to ensure high-quality legal servicesParticipate in internal strategy sessions and contribute to firm knowledge and best practicesCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure that all legal actions align with ethical rules, client obligations, and procedural complianceFlag potential risks in ongoing or prospective litigation mattersRequirementsJ.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas bar license7+ years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on business/commercial mattersProven experience handling declaratory actions and related civil claimsExcellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsStrong strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyLabor & Employment experience is a plus.BenefitsPositive Culture: Work in a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative environment that values your contributions.Growth Opportunities: Access to professional development, mentorship, and opportunities for career advancement.Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a highly competitive salary.Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and more.Work-Life Balance: Flexible work arrangements to help maintain a healthy work-life balance.
