Candidates must be competent with interpreting rhythms. Description: Contract RN position in a Progressive Care Unit. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No call required. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience or critical care experience. Monitor tech experience is preferred. Typical procedures on the unit include post-procedure care for cardiac catheterization lab patients. Experience with stroke and COVID patients is beneficial. The unit has a total of 24 beds and a staff of 41. Patient ratios are 1:5. Candidates should be team players with a sense of urgency. Adaptability to change and the ability to accept constructive criticism are essential. A hands-on approach is necessary for this role. Dress code includes galaxy blue scrubs for nurses and hunter green for patient care technicians. Certain attire is considered unacceptable, including sweaters with hoods and crocs.
