We offer: Clean and organized shopfloor The right tools and equipment to do the job safely and efficientlyLong service employees who provide mentorship and on the job trainingPredictable hours - voluntary overtime available Respect for your skill,your time, and your safety WHAT YOU WILL DO: Read and understand partdrawings, work instructions, and quality requirements to check partdimensions and tolerances Set up and use inspection gauges forproduction checks Inspect parts using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning &Tolerancing) guidelines Perform incoming (receiving) inspections toensure materials meet purchase order and specification requirementsOperate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect partfeatures including alignment, location, geometric tolerances; develop,modify, and validate inspection programs when needed Inspect tooling andfixtures and keep accurate inspection and calibration records Visuallyinspect parts and materials for surface defects such as cracks, dents,burrs, or poor welds Verify assemblies are complete by comparing partsto drawings, parts lists, or sample models Measure parts using standardinspection tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicatorsIdentify, document, and reject non-conforming parts, and work with theQuality Supervisor to resolve quality issues WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with minimum 3years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
