Principal Mechanical Engineer

NRL have exciting opportunities for Principal Mechanical Design Engineers with one of our leading clients, Tenet Consultants Ltd. They are an innovative multi-discipline engineering and design consultancy, with headquarters in Warrington. As an Engineering Design Consultancy, Tenet provide niche design and technical services to a variety of industry sectors, primarily Nuclear. Their mechanical design activities include, but are not limited to:Concept & Front End Engineering Design (FEED) StudiesEquipment SpecificationDetail DesignEngineering SubstantiationSpecialist Mechanical Handling DesignMechanical Piping DesignManufacture installation and Commissioning SupportPeriodic Safety ReviewsLifetime Quality Records (LQR)Safety System DesignIndependent Nuclear Safety Assessment (INSA) & Peer ReviewWhat You Will Need:Experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably Nuclear.HNC minimum, ideally degree qualified and a Chartered Engineer.Able to lead teams and develop younger engineers.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to perform mechanical design calculations, produce technical specifications and requisitions, datasheets, perform technical bid evaluations.Checking of design documentation.All candidates must have the ability to obtain BPSS.AutoCAD, Inventor, General Microsoft Office package.What's in it for you?:Contract or Permanent positions availableInteresting portfolio of workCompetitive rates / salariesHybrid working availableAbout The Client:Tenet's Mechanical team have many years' experience in Nuclear and other highly regulated industries.
