Frontend Developer React and Angular
Job TitleThis is a remote position.Job DescriptionWe are looking for Frontend Developers to join a large digital engineering programme delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure enterprise applications in the financial sector. The role focuses on building modern UI components in React (primary) and Angular, contributing to shared libraries, and ensuring best-practice standards across accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.ResponsibilitiesBuild, refactor, and optimise UI modules in React and AngularTranslate requirements, wireframes, and UX prototypes into production ready componentsCreate reusable components, shared libraries, and maintain frontend architecture consistencyOptimise performance, rendering behaviour, and overall user experienceIntegrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend servicesParticipate in code reviews and apply clean code practicesImplement unit tests using Jest, Jasmine, Karma, React Testing LibraryCollaborate with backend, design, product, and DevOps teamsWork with build tools (Webpack, Vite, NX, Lerna)Maintain documentation and support engineering standardsRequirements3–5 years of commercial experience in frontend developmentStrong experience with React and AngularExcellent understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM, and browser internalsExperience with design systems and component driven developmentSolid capability with state management (NgRx, Redux, RxJS, Zustand, Jotai, Signals)Good understanding of REST API integration patternsComfortable with Git in collaborative multi-branch environmentsExperience writing unit tests for frontend codeFluent English for daily work and technical documentationNice to haveExperience with microfrontends or monorepo frameworksKnowledge of frontend performance profiling toolsFamiliarity with CI pipelines for frontend deliveryAccessibility experience (WCAG)Exposure to Azure or cloud based frontend deploymentsBenefitsSolid, competitive salaryWork in multinational environment on international projectsComprehensive healthcareLong-term B2B contract with stable project pipelineFully remote model
