Manufacturing Engineer Manager

This role requires a forward-thinking engineering leader who can drive innovation across manufacturing operations while maintaining a strong foundation in execution. The ideal candidate brings proven expertise in process design, project management, and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams, along with a deep understanding of HVAC products, systems, and associated manufacturing processes.Lean & Continuous ImprovementChampion a culture of continuous improvement by deploying lean manufacturing principles, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and structured problem-solving methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize cost efficiency. Proactively identify operational gaps and implement scalable solutions to address performance issues.Safety, Compliance & Risk ManagementLead with a safety-first mindset by ensuring all engineering, maintenance, and tool room activities meet or exceed EHS standards. Drive compliance through robust machine safety programs, including proper guarding and strict adherence to lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, while proactively mitigating operational risks.Budget & Resource ManagementOwn and strategically manage budgets across engineering, maintenance, tooling, and capital investments. Optimize resource allocation by controlling labor, spare parts, contractor services, and tooling expenditures while aligning financial decisions with long-term operational goals.Performance Metrics & Cross-Functional AlignmentEstablish and track key performance indicators such as OEE, downtime, tooling performance, and project execution milestones. Leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve operations and collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to drive alignment and achieve plant-wide objectives.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline required; a Master's degree or relevant certifications are preferred.7-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, including 3-5 years in a leadership or management role, ideally within the HVAC or a related industry.BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package designed to attract and retain top engineering talent:Base Salary: $115,000 - $125,000 annually, aligned with regional market data for manufacturing engineering leadership roles (market averages ~$111K-$131K, with ~$120K typical midpoint)Performance Bonus: Eligibility for annual incentive bonus based on individual and plant performanceComprehensive Benefits Package Includes:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceShort-term and long-term disability coverage401(k) with company contributionPaid time off and holidays
