Employment Type:Part timeShift:Night ShiftDescription:Position PurposeAt Saint Mary's Hospital, the Nursing Supervisor (House) serves as the on-site leadership presence during nights, weekends, and holidays. This role ensures safe, high-quality, patient-centered care across all units by coordinating nursing operations, supporting staff, and resolving clinical and administrative issues. The supervisor acts as a resource for nursing teams and collaborates with other departments to maintain continuity of care and operational efficiency .What You Will DoProvide on-site nursing leadership during nights, weekends, and holidays.Support and guide nursing staff across departments.Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.Resolve clinical and operational issues in real time.Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.Minimum QualificationsRequired:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).Current Connecticut RN license.The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient acute care nursing and leadership roles such as Critical Care, Charge Nurse, or Assistant Nurse ManagerPreferred:BLS or CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS).Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).Position Highlights and BenefitsPart-Time: 24 Hours/Week – Night Shift.Variable shift hours, combining 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
