Staff OfficerThe Opportunity:As a Staff Officer, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of functions and tasks that require proficiency in office business processes, communications, and project coordination. You will provide direct support to leadership by managing daily operations, leading tasker responses, and ensuring the effective flow of information. You will independently manage assignments, analyze and resolve administrative challenges, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, the Department of War (DoW), and the Intelligence Community (IC).What You'll Work On:Serve as a primary action officer or suspense coordinator for office taskings using systems like N-CERTS, including initiating, assigning, and monitoring tasks, consolidating responses, and ensuring timely, high-quality submissions for leadership review.Draft, review, and edit official correspondence, memoranda, weekly activity reports, briefings, and meeting minutes.Prepare special or one-time reports and summaries by selecting and synthesizing relevant information from various sources.Provide daily operational support to office leadership, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and anticipating and preparing materials needed for conferences, appointments, and briefings.Coordinate and support office staff meetings, governance forums, and other events, including preparing agendas, distributing read-ahead materials, and tracking action items to closure.Initiate and complete travel and conference requests using the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Management and Execution Tracker (MET).Coordinate logistics for office moves and manage office supplies.Manage and maintain office records, SharePoint sites, and shared folders in compliance with agency policy.Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), org charts, and recall rosters.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have:Experience managing office actions, meetings, and coordinating projectsExperience preparing and delivering briefings and writing official correspondenceExperience with using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePointActive TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph examBachelor's degree in a Business or Management field and 7+ years of experience as a staff officer of administrative management, or 10+ years of experience as a staff officer of administrative management in lieu of degreeNice If You Have:Experience with a Central Electronic Requirements Tracking System, Defense Travel System (DTS), and Management Execution Tracker System (MET)Experience with the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS)Experience interfacing with different personalities and senior-level personnel within the agency and across the Intelligence CommunityData Transfer Officer (DTO) CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
