Ammunition Specialist I Jobs
AA&E Logistics SpecialistProvide timely and proper AA&E logistics services - including but not limited to receipt, transport, storage, inventory accountability, exercise of explosive safety risks mitigation measures, exercise of physical security measures, issue, storage facilities material condition monitoring, preparation for demilitarization or disposal, and preparation for shipping - compliant with governing regulations, policies, and procedures. Governing directives importantly include, but are not limited to: Army Regulation (AR) 190-11, Physical Security of Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives. Department of Army Pamphlet (DA PAM) 385-64, Ammunition and Explosives Safety Standards; and, Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) 4500.9R, Part II, Cargo Movement
Experience, Education, and Licensure
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient user of Microsoft's Office 365 suite of software and applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft's SharePoint
Commercial Driver's License (CDL), preferably Class A with hazardous materials endorsement
Ten (10) years' AA&E logistics experience, civilian or military
Prior military AA&E logistics experience
Forklift operation experience
Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) experience
U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command Ammunition Tracking System (AMCATS) experience

Work Environment
A&E storage facilities, indoors and outdoors test and evaluation facilities and sites, medium-sized transport trucks, and for brief periods a shared office environment. Routinely, work is near, or is directly handling standard and non-standard ammunition and explosives.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described must be met to perform the essential functions of the job - able to: see, hear, and speak; repeatedly lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds; sit for extended time; and use a personal computer and common peripheral devices (e.g., keyboard, mouse, displays, printer). Work Authorization / Security Clearance
DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Additional Qualifying Factors
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.

$23.25-$25.00/hr
